State Drought Payment information
We are now taking applications for the Ohio Department of Agriculture Drought Relief Funding. Only producers that have received payment from the USDA Farm Service Agency for last year's drought are eligible for these ODA payments. Please come by our office to sign-up or use the forms below. Our office hours are 8-4:30, however, due to limited staffing & field work, it is recommended to call beforehand to ensure a staff member will be available. Our office phone is (740)596-5676 and we are located at 31935 St Rt 93 in McArthur in the basement of the Community Building. Applications will be taken until June 30 but payments will be within a few weeks of each application's submittal. Applications can be dropped off during business hours or in the drop-box on our door after hours. Emailed applications will be accepted but are not recommended. The application form and the W-9 are both required. The Additional Producer Information sheet is optional— we are working to expand our agricultural assistance program and are looking to gather more information on agricultural practices active in Vinton County. Please call if you have any questions.
